The President is the chief executive officer of the federation. He or she is subject to the control of the Board of Directors and supervises and controls the affairs of the federation and the activities of the officers. He or she performs all duties incident to his or her office and other duties as may be required by law, or by these Bylaws, or which may be prescribed from time to time by the Board of Directors.

Goals for the Year: For the federation to expand with more dojos and members, be able to fundraise a sufficient amount to invite another sensei from Japan, provide more online resources for both members and the general public, and for the federation to become more tech savvy to gain a stronger social media presence.

 

Nigel Dasilva

Vice President, 2-dan

The duties of the Vice President are to perform all responsibilities of the President in the case of an absence and to be the communications coordinator among the contact people of various naginata schools and non-affiliated members (those not associated with an established school).

Patrick Magpayo

Treasurer, 4-dan

The Treasurer is responsible for all funds of the federation and for depositing those funds in the name of the federation in banks, trust companies or other depositories as shall be selected by the Board of Directors.

Executive Secretary, 2-kyu

The Executive Secretary is responsible for communications, storage of the Bylaws, presiding over meetings in the absence of the President and Vice-President and maintaining minutes and records.

The Recording Secretary is responsible for maintaining minutes for board meetings and assisting the Executive Secretary with his or her administrative duties.
